Women in healthcare

Most recent event:

We recently had an exciting and informative event at Wits Medical School. Guest speaker Elsabe Klinck spoke on legally marketing your practice, according to the HPCSA and CPA. Elsabe's talk was followed by a panel discussion where Dr Anna Sparaco (Specialist Surgeon) led the discussion around marketing oneself. Prof Carol Benn (Specialist Surgeon) shared from her experiences and Dr Amisha Maraj (Surgeon), Colleen Qvist (Business Coach) and Carla Herbst (CPD lab director) also added tips and discussion points around marketing as women in the healthcare industry.

We would like to thank our sponsors!

Join the Women in Healthcare club!

Preferred provider network for women in healthcare

How does it work?

CPD lab will market the club and have the members' details (Discipline, address and landline contacts) available on our website. We will also send all members printable member lists. We will encourage members to first check the list of providers for women to whom they can refer, before referring patients to other healthcare providers whom they may not know.

What is the cost of joining the club?

The first four months, from joining are free! Thereafter each member will be given the choice to stay part of the club or be removed from our preferred provider lists.

How do I join?

It's simple, fill in the "Women in Healthcare" form on the right sidebar. We will keep you informed every step of the way!
